Men’s Prayer Breakfast
Once every two months on a Saturday, the men of Westside come together for a time of prayer and good fellowship. After a hearty breakfast, a short devotion is given and ample time is set aside for prayer. Make sure you signify your interest to the Pastor so he can give you more details on the venue. Starts at 8:30 a.m. up to 10:30 a.m.

Women of Westside
The Women of Westside (W.O.W.) meets once every two months on a Saturday. Our meetings have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere as we fellowship over breakfast together. Our pastor’s wife, Yolanda shares a practical study on God’s Word that is relevant for ladies, mothers and daughters in all walks of life. We start at 8:30 a.m.

Crèche
A place where every child is cherished. Our dedicated workers all have current Working With Children Check. We provide a safe place for children under 4 years old to be able to have structured play, Bible story time, activities, and interact with kids their age while parents are in the services. Our crèche ministry runs alongside all our services and is staffed by at least two ladies at all times.
Evangelism
God’s Word tells us in Proverbs 11:30, “… he that winneth souls is wise”. Every Christian should be a soulwinner, a fisher of men, personally and as a church. We offer many opportunities to go soulwinning at Westside Baptist Church. Please call or see Pastor(s) if you would like to be involved in this ministry.

Missionaries
At WBC we believe the great commission given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15 & Matthew 28:18-20.
We believe that missions is the heartbeat of God.
We do not just believe it, we practice missions by supporting missionaries of like faith and practice. WBC is actively involved in missions throughout the year through faith promise missions giving, supporting Australian church planters, missions trips for adults and youth, missions banquets and our yearly missions conferences in July.
Discipleship
What is Discipleship? Discipleship is equal to the word Christian and a Christian is a Christ follower. Discipleship is a person who is committed to their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, it is a way of life not necessarily a set of lessons. Are you a true disciple of Jesus Christ? If not we would love to help you develop in this important area of your life as a believer.

Compass Kids
Psalm 25:4 “Shew me thy ways, O Lord: teach me thy paths.”
A compass always points North, and it is important for us to point children to God and see them get saved. We have been blessed with many children at WBC. Our Compass Kids ministry is for children ages 6-12. We place great importance in teaching children God's ways and what they can do to please Him.
We meet once a month on a Friday at the church from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Our program includes singing, game time, book time and Bible time.
Teen Conquerors
Romans 8:37 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
Issues and struggles in life seen through God's Word help us rise above the occasion and conquer our doubts and fears. Our teens ministry focuses on seeing the world from God's point of view and the fact that through Christ we are more than conquerors.
We meet once a month on a Friday at the church from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Our time involves singing, lots of fun games and a challenge from God's Word.
