A Tribute To The Holy Bible

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever”. Isaiah 40:8

The Bible is 100% true without error. You can trust the Bible fully and completely. It has been proven true in science, history, and archeology. It is the only Book that tells the future of the world. It tells of a wonderful home in Heaven for those who trust Jesus Christ as their Saviour and a sad separation and judgment in Hell fire to come on all those who reject Jesus Christ. Read the King James Bible daily and it will bless your soul.  – Pastor Eckels

The Holy Bible.

“The Bible contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s charter. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good the design, and the glory of God its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently, and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labour, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents”.

What great men in history have said about the Bible.

“I have known ninety-five of the world’s greatest men in my time and of these eighty-seven were followers of the Bible. The Bible is stamped with a Specialty of Origin, and an immeasurable distance separates it from all competitors”

W. E. Gladstone,  Prime Minister of Great Briton and Ireland

“The Bible is no mere book, but a Living Creature, with a power that conquered all that oppose it.”

– Napoleon

“Great has been the blessings from consecutive, diligent, daily study. I look upon it as a lost day when I have not had a good time over the Word of God.”

George Muller, of Bristol Orphanages fame

“I prayed for faith, and thought that someday Faith would come down and strike me like lightning. But faith did not seem to come. One day I read in the tenth chapter of Romans, “Now faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” I had closed my Bible, and prayed for Faith. I now opened my Bible, and began to study, and Faith has been growing ever since.”

– D.L. Moody World famous Evangelist

“the great British Prime Minister, statesman, historian and author, said: “We reject with scorn all these learned and labored myths that Moses was but a legendary figure. We believe that the most scientific view, the most up-to-date and rationalistic conception, will find its fullest satisfaction in taking the Bible story literally.”

–  Sir Winston Churchill Former British Prime Minister

“A thorough understanding of the Bible is better than a college education.”

Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States

“Our Colony begins to increase greatly. Last Sunday I preached I suppose to not less than six or eight hundred, and I have since heard that one at least went away sorrowful and heavyhearted, and some others rejoicing in the Son of God manifested towards them.”

 Richard Johnson, 1791 – Australia’s first Pastor

The Power of the Bible.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward”.  The Holy Bible Psalm 19:7-11
